A trio of young British actors have joined Alicia Vikander and Kit Harington in WWII drama “A Testament of Youth,” according to The Daily Mail. Taron Egerton, Colin Morgan and Alexandra Roach are now all part of the cast of the biopic of pacifist Vera Brittain’s early years.

James Kent is directing the film based on Brittain’s own autobiography of the same name. Brittain lived into her 70s and wrote three memoirs of her life before and after World War I, but Vikander will take on her first, which revolved around her entrance to the University of Oxford, her romance with Roland Leighton, and the onset of World War I, which would ultimately take the lives of her fiance, her brother and two friends.

Morgan will portray Victor Richardson, a schoolmate of Edward’s who behaved gallantly towards Vera when so many of her friends were killed.
