2015 Thunderbirds are go
At 30th of September 2013, ITV studios revealed that Angel Coulby will take part in the new production of Thunderbirds are go! Thunderbirds Are Go! will feature new characters including Kayo, the Tracy brothers’ friend and fellow island resident played by Angel Coulby. The show is set to air in 2015.
2013 The tunnel
On the 16th of October 2013 the series ‘The tunnel‘ premiered on the HD channel Sky Atlantic. Angel Coulby landed the role as the wife Laura Roebuck. The premiere episode was seen by an average of 362,000 overnight viewers, considered strong ratings for the channel. The series exists of a total of 10 episodes and finished airing at 18th of December 2013 in UK.
2013 Dancing on the Edge
Between the 4th of February and the 10th of March 2013 Angel Coulby starred in the BBC 2 miniseries ‘Dancing on the Edge‘ as lounge singer Jessie. Beside her were Dr. Who companion Jenna Louise Coleman and Merlin stars Anthony Head and Janet Montgomery. 2008 – 2012 Merlin
From the 20th of September 2008 to the 24th of December 2012 Angel Coulby joined the crew from the BBC fantasy series Merlin starring as the character Guinevere. During filming Angel traveled to France, Pierre fonds Castle every year. Where they worked several months to record the episodes. Each season of Merlin took about 9 months to complete and therefor left little space to do other things beside. Angel has stated in a few interviews that the two leading men, Colin Morgan and Bradley James often loved to play pranks on her during this time. After the series ended Angel explained it had been a fun journey and she loved it that she was able to portray the character from the very beginning until the very end. She was sad that it ended however also glad that she would now be able to move on to new exciting projects.
Before her role in Merlin shot Angel Coulby to fame she had appeared on several smaller roles.
2007 Blue Murder
At December 17, Angel Coulby could be seen in the episode ‘Crisis Management‘ of the series Blue Murder portraying the character Kate Malin. Blue Murder is a British crime drama television series based in Manchester. Shown on ITV from 2003 until 2009 when it was canceled by the network, it starred Caroline Quentin as DCI Janine Lewis. The episode Angel starred in was seen by 6.60 million viewers.
2007 Life is wild
At October 28, 2007 Angel Coulby starred in the episode ‘Heritage Day‘ of the series Life is wild in a small role as Lynette. Life Is Wild is an American television serial drama adapted by Michael Rauch, George Faber and Charlie Pattinson from the popular British drama Wild at Heart. The show is about a New York veterinarian who moves his second wife and their two sets of children to a South African game reserve run by his former father-in-law. The show was canceled in February 2008 due to low ratings.
2007 The visit
From the 22nd of July till 26nd of August Angel Coulby played the character Rachael in the Comedy series ‘the Visit‘. She was seen in a total of 6 out of 7 episodes. The BBC revealed The Visit is part of a series trilogy with I’m With Stupid and Thieves Like Us and the decision is yet to be made about a second series.
2007 Talk to me
From the 10th of June until the 1st of July Angel Coulby joined the cast of ‘Talk to me’ for the total of 4 episodes. Portraying a character named Faith. Talk to Me is a British television serial, written by writer Danny Brocklehurst, produced by Company Pictures for ITV. It was announced in early 2007 under the working title Is This Love?. The first episode attracted 4.2 million viewers, growing to 5.5 million in its second week.
At the 18th of May the movie Magicians premiered with Angel Coulby in it portraying the receptionist. It stars comic duo Robert Webb and David Mitchell as stage magicians Karl and Harry respectively. The two magicians compete together in a magic competition, despite their personal differences. The movie received mixed reviews but has been labelled A must for magic and Peep Show fans alike, with some original and brilliant comedy moments.
2007 Secret Life
At the 19th of April the movie Secret Life premiered where Angel Coulby plays the role of a young mum. The movie meaintenseres the consequences for one man as he struggles to vanquish his own corruption in a society that, however hard he tries to be good, will never find him anything but repugnant. It makes for a morally complex piece of television, about how society deals with the child-molesters in its midst.
2007 New Street Law
At the 4th of April Angel Coulby joins the cast for an episode of New Street Law as the character Sharon Weir. She is to be seen in the very last episode of the series in season 2. New Street Law is a British legal drama television series produced by Red Production Company in association with One-Eyed Dog Ltd for BBC One. In July 2007, the cancellation of the series was announced. This left an unresolved cliffhanger from the second series.
2007 Gina’s Laughing Gear
At the 2nd of March Angel Coulby is to be seen in the episode ‘Dollby City‘ from Gina’s Laughing Gear portraying the character of Nurse Jones. Gina’s Laughing Gear was a special programming slot which was presented by Gina Yashere. It was shown on Friday afternoons on BBC One and repeated on Saturday on the CBBC Channel. The purpose was to showcase new CBBC comedy at the time.
2006 The Bill
At the 29th of November Angel Coulby stars in episode 461 from ‘The bill‘ as Zoe Hughes. The Bill is a police procedural television series that was broadcast on the ITV network from 16 October 1984 until 31 August 2010. In March 2010, executives at ITV announced that the network did not intend to recommission The Bill, and that filming on the series would cease on 14 June 2010. The last ever episode of the series was aired on 31 August 2010.
2006 Tripping over
At the 22nd of November Angel Coulby join the cast of ‘Tripping over‘ for a single episode in season one. Portraying the character named Charity. Tripping over is a British/Australian six-part drama series. The show is about three friends in London and two friends in Sydney, neither group knows each other but their parents do. They both take flights to each other’s countries, and the two groups meet at the stop-over in Bangkok, where a tragic event changes their lives.
2006 Doctor Who
At the 6th of May Angel Coulby joins one of her favorite shows Doctor Who for the episode ‘The girl in the fireplace‘ where she portrays the character of Katrine. The final rating for the episode was 7.90 million, making it the thirteenth most watched program on BBC One that week. The episode’s script was nominated for the 2006 Nebula Award and The Girl in the Fireplace won the 2007 Hugo Award for Best Dramatic Presentation, Short Form.
At the 31st of March Angel Coulby stars in the episode ‘A bollywood dream‘ of the TV series Hustle portraying the character named Alice. The episode hit 5.64 million viewers. Hustle is a British television drama series made by Kudos Film and Television for BBC One in the United Kingdom. Created by Tony Jordan and first broadcast in 2004, the series follows a group of con artists who specialize in “long cons”. The BBC announced that the eighth series, which was first aired in January 2012, would be the last. The final series ended on 17 February 2012.
2005 – 2006 Vincent
At the 10th of October 2005 until the 6th of November 2006 Angel Coulby joins the cast of the TV series ‘Vincent‘ for a total of 7 out of 8 episodes portraying the character Gillian Lafferty. Vincent is an ITV drama series following the life of Ex Cop turned private investigator Vincent Gallagher and his team of PI’s that do whatever it takes to tackle cases that come to them.
2005 Imagine me & you
At the 9th of September 2005 the Movie Imagine Me & You was premiered where Angel Coulby portrays the character named Anna. Imagine Me & You is a 2005 British-American comedy-romance film written and directed by Ol Parker. It centres on the relationship between Rachel (Piper Perabo) and Luce (Lena Headey), who meet on Rachel’s wedding day. Another member of the Merlin cast starring in this movie is Anthony Head.
2005 The league of gentleman’s apocalypse
At the 3rd of June the movie ‘the league of gentleman’s apocalypse‘ premiered. Angel Coulby stars as a receptionist in the movie that is a feature film spin-off of the popular British television comedy series The League of Gentlemen.
2005 M.I.T Murder Investigation Team
At the 11th of July Angel Coulby appeared in an episode of Murder Investigation Team as Lee Allanson. Murder Investigation Team is a British police procedural drama series produced by the ITV network as a spin-off from the long-running series, The Bill. The series is based around the cases of a Murder Investigation Team, who are linked to the intensen Hill borough of London, as featured in The Bill.
2005 The jacket
At the 23rd of January the movie ‘The Jacket‘ was premiered with Angel Coulby starring as the intern #2. The Jacket is a psychological thriller film directed by John Maybury that is partly based on the Jack London novel titled The Star Rover, however, in the UK the book was published as The Jacket.
2004 Holby City
At the 14th of December Angel Coulby joined the cast of the TV series Holby City in the episode ‘A Good Day to Bury Bad News‘ as the character Maxime Framley. Holby City, stylised as HOLBY CI+Y, is a British medical drama television series that airs weekly on BBC One. Holby City has been nominated for over 100 awards, of which it has won six. The series has received five nominations for the British Academy Television Awards, winning one.
From the 7th of November untill the 21st of November Angel Coulby starred in the TV series ‘Conviction‘ as the character Jemma Ryan. Conviction is a British television crime drama that premiered on BBC Three. The six-part series was written by Bill Gallagher, previously known for Clocking Off and Out of the Blue. The series was created and produced by Red Production Company and directed by Marc Munden. The story was remade as the 2012 movie Blood starring Paul Bettany, Mark Strong and Brian Cox.
2004 As if
From the 24rd of April until 17th of July Angel Coulby could be seen in the TV series ‘What if‘ as the character Amber. She starred in a total of 7 episodes. As If is a British comedy-drama series broadcast on Channel 4. There were 76 episodes across four series, the first broadcast on 22 January 2001 and the last on 31 July 2004. 2004 Making waves
On the 7th and 14th of July Angel Coulby joined the cast of the TV series ‘Making waves‘ as the character LMA Anita Cook. Angel can be seen in the first two episodes of the first season. Making Waves is a British television drama series produced by Carlton Television for ITV. It was created by Ted Childs and chronicles the professional and personal lives of the crew of the Royal Navy frigate HMS intenseffolk. Due to low ratings it was removed from the schedules after only three episodes, the remainder of the series going unaired on television in the United Kingdom.
At the 18th of March Angel Coulby stars in the TV series ‘Manchild‘ as the character Pippa. She can be seen in the 4th episode of the 2nd season. Manchild is a British television comedy / drama series that ran for two series on BBC Two. 2003 The second coming
At the 9th of Febuary Angel Coulby appears in the TV mini series ‘The second coming‘ playing the character PC Louise Fraser. The Second Coming is a two-part British television drama first screened on ITV. It concerns the realisation of humble video store worker Steve Baxter (played by Christopher Eccleston) that he is in fact the Son of God, and has just a few days to find the human race’s Third Testament and thus avert the Apocalypse.
2002 A good Thief
At the 22nd of July the movie ‘A good thief‘ was premiered in the UK with Angel Coulby starring in it as Leah Pickering. Wonderful drama again from British tv. In this twisted, emotional and interesting plot, one can get really involved and really feel the characters performances.
At the 2nd of Febuary Angel Coulby starred at the TV series Caintensealty in the episode ‘In the Heat of the Night‘. Season 16, Episode 22. Angel plays the character named Sally. Caintensealty, stylized as CAintenseAL+Y, is a British medical drama television series that airs weekly on BBC One, and the longest-running emergency medical drama television series in the world. In 2007, Caintensealty won its first major award, the BAFTA for the best continuing drama.
At the 1st of October 2001 Angel Coulby makes her TV debut in the TV series ‘Orrible‘ starring as the character Shiv. ‘Orrible is a British television sitcom produced by the BBC. Broadcast in 2001, it was written by and starred Johnny Vaughan. Vaughan appears as a taxi-cab driver and wannabe small time criminal in Acton (London). Despite the BBC having high hopes and heavily promoting the series, it was panned by critics for the script and Vaughan’s acting ability. It achieved very low viewing figures and ran for one series, and has never been repeated by the BBC. “Ultimately, it was shit” said Vaughan in a 2004 interview in The Stage.

Angel Coulby played the character of a Student: Greyfriars Cemetery segment (as Awassa Tact). Scariest Places on Earth is an American paranormal documentary reality television series that originally aired from October 23, 2000 to October 29, 2006. The program was produced by Triage Entertainment for the Fox Family Channel, which is now ABC Family and owns the rights to the show. The show featured reported cases of the paranormal by sending an ordinary family to visit the location in a reality TV-style vigil.
